Peec AI Review

Solid platform. The process is fairly clear and the UI is relatively easy to understand. It supports the main platforms and LLMs. Doesn't have other modules beyond tracking like recommendations on taking action.

What We Liked

  • See results instantly
  • Self-serve and no need for sales calls
  • Can configure most common things (topics, prompts, regions)
×

What We Didn't Like

  • × Lack of recommendations and actionable insights
  • × Price is higher than others (for the same # of prompts)

Detailed Review

Getting Started

I signed up, verified the email, and dropped in a company URL. The product tried to auto-generate topics. The suggestions weren't usable, so I replaced them with three proxy-related topics. That fixed the direction. The system produced a couple dozen prompts from that input.

First Look at the Data

The dashboard showed rankings and citations instantly. That revealed the data wasn't generated on the spot. It came from existing crawls. Reddit didn't appear until after upgrading, which exposed a mix of scraping and API sources rather than a single method.

Exploring the Dashboard

Visibility, sentiment, and position were the main numbers. The interface listed domains, citations, and a category chart. Several items couldn't be expanded. Some labels didn't explain themselves. Useful enough, but not fully transparent.

Digging Into Prompts

Each prompt had visibility across three models, sentiment, position, brand mentions, and an estimated volume metric. The volume wasn't real data. It was modeled. Competitor mentions weren't always detected, even when they appeared inside the responses.

Checking the Sources

The sources page listed domains, categories, and citation counts. A few metrics needed clearer meaning. Adding competitors unlocked better views. I could see which sources mentioned them and ignored my brand. That made the gap analysis more meaningful.

Customization

There were settings for competitors, tags, custom prompts, and bulk uploads. Managing topics and prompts was straightforward.

Reliability Problem

At one point the system logged me out, broke the session, and forced a complete restart. I had to create a new account to continue. That failure overshadowed several of the product's strengths.

Final Take

The product delivers prompt tracking, citations, competitor comparison, and source analysis. The interface is clean. The data model has holes. Stability is the biggest risk.
